Photos Sync Wifi Pro

Effective Date: May 19, 2026

Photos Sync Wifi Pro (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, how it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.

This Privacy Policy is intended to help users understand the App’s data practices and to support compliance with Google Play policies, applicable privacy laws, and platform requirements for Android and Flutter-based mobile applications.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android mobile application Photos Sync Wifi Pro and related support communications. It covers information processed through the App when you install, open, configure, and use it.

2. Summary of How the App Works

Photos Sync Wifi Pro is designed to help users select and sync photos, videos, and other files from their device to a user-configured destination, such as a Wi-Fi router, attached USB storage, FTP destination, or compatible local/network server.

In the current app build reviewed for this policy:

  • The App accesses photos, videos, and user-selected files only to provide sync and transfer features requested by the user.

  • Router connection settings and related credentials may be stored locally on the device.

  • The App may generate local notifications to inform users about sync activity or newly detected photos.

  • The App may perform background checks for new media and sync-related tasks when enabled by the user or device settings.

  • We did not identify a Google AdMob SDK, third-party ad SDK, analytics SDK, or crash reporting SDK in the current project configuration reviewed for this policy.

If future versions add advertising, analytics, crash reporting, cloud services, or other third-party data processing tools, this Privacy Policy must be updated before release.

4. How We Use Data

We use data only for legitimate app functionality, including:

  • Providing photo, video, and file sync features

  • Connecting to a router, FTP server, USB storage path, or compatible user-configured endpoint

  • Detecting new media for backup or sync workflows

  • Preventing duplicate transfers and maintaining sync history

  • Saving user preferences and connection settings locally

  • Sending notifications related to sync activity

  • Maintaining app security, integrity, and performance

  • Complying with applicable law and Google Play requirements

We do not use your content for unrelated profiling or sell your personal data.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR-Friendly Information)

Where applicable under the GDPR or similar laws, our legal bases may include:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the sync and transfer features you request

  • Legitimate interests: to maintain app functionality, security, and reliability in a balanced and reasonable way

  • Consent: where device permissions or certain processing require your permission

  • Legal obligations: where processing is required by law

You can withdraw permission-based access, such as media or notification access, through your device settings at any time. Some app features may stop working if required permissions are denied.

6. Google Play Policy Compliance

We aim to comply with Google Play’s User Data policies and related developer requirements. In particular:

  • We access user data only for app features that are reasonably expected by the user.

  • We request permissions that are relevant to the App’s core functionality.

  • We do not claim to collect or process data beyond what the App needs to provide sync, transfer, and notification features.

  • We do not knowingly sell personal or sensitive user data.

  • We expect all future updates involving ads, analytics, SDKs, or additional data practices to be disclosed in both the app listing and this Privacy Policy before release.

7. Permissions Used by the App

The App may request the following Android permissions, depending on OS version and enabled features:

Media and Storage Permissions

  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES

  • READ_MEDIA_VIDEO

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions

Purpose: To allow the App to read photos, videos, and selected media so the user can browse, detect, and sync files.

Network Permissions

  • INTERNET

  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

Purpose: To connect to your router, FTP destination, local server, or other configured network endpoint and to check connection availability.

Notification Permission

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Purpose: To send notifications about sync events, new photo detection, or background tasks.

Background and Startup Permission

  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Purpose: To support background monitoring or scheduled sync-related services after device restart, where supported and enabled.

Wake Lock

  • WAKE_LOCK

Purpose: To help keep the device awake during user-initiated sync sessions so transfers can complete more reliably.

We request only the permissions needed for the features offered by the App. You can deny permissions, but some features may become unavailable or work less reliably.

8. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information:

  • Sensitive router credentials may be stored locally using secure device storage mechanisms where supported.

  • App preferences and sync state may be stored locally on your device.

  • File transfers are initiated based on your instructions and configuration.

  • Access to photos, videos, and files is limited to app functionality you use.

Please note:

  • No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

  • If you configure the App to connect to a local router, FTP service, or self-hosted server, the security of that destination depends in part on your own network, device, router, and server configuration.

  • Some transfers may use local-network or cleartext communication depending on your setup. You are responsible for using secure network environments and trusted destinations.

9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share or transmit data only in the following limited ways:

  • To your chosen sync destination: Files and related metadata may be transmitted to the router, FTP location, USB-connected storage path, or server that you configure.

  • To platform providers: Android or Google Play services may process limited operational data required to distribute, secure, and operate the app environment.

  • For legal reasons: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

  • To protect rights and safety: When reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security issues, or misuse.

Because the App is designed around user-configured destinations, you control where your files are sent.

10. Third-Party Services

In the current reviewed build, we did not identify integrated third-party advertising, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs.

The App may rely on platform or library components necessary for functionality, such as:

  • Android operating system services

  • Google Play distribution and security infrastructure

  • Flutter and plugin-based mobile framework components used for storage, media access, notifications, connectivity, and background processing

If future versions integrate third-party services such as cloud hosting, advertising networks, analytics tools, or crash reporting services, we will update this Privacy Policy to identify those providers, describe the data involved, and explain the purpose of processing.

11. Advertising and Ads Policy

In the current reviewed build, we did not identify Google AdMob or another mobile ad SDK.

If a future version includes ads:

  • The App may display ads from providers such as Google AdMob or other approved advertising partners.

  • Ad providers may collect or receive device identifiers, app interaction data, approximate location derived from IP address, or similar information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and measurement.

  • Where required, consent options will be presented to users before personalized advertising is enabled.

  • Users in applicable regions may be offered choices regarding interest-based advertising.

If ads are added in the future, the Google Play Data safety section and this Privacy Policy should be updated before publication of that version.

12. Analytics and Crash Reporting

In the current reviewed build, we did not identify Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar analytics/crash reporting SDKs.

If future versions add analytics or crash reporting:

  • These tools may collect technical diagnostics such as device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, session events, and coarse usage statistics.

  • Such tools would be used to improve app stability, diagnose failures, and understand feature usage.

  • We would update this Privacy Policy and related disclosures before releasing that version.

13. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App itself does not typically use browser cookies in the same way a website does.

However:

  • If the App interacts with web-based services, local servers, or third-party endpoints, those services may use cookies, session tokens, logs, or similar tracking technologies.

  • If future versions include ads, analytics, or embedded web content, those providers may use identifiers or comparable technologies for measurement, fraud prevention, and service delivery.

Where required by law, appropriate disclosures and consent mechanisms should be used.

14. Children’s Privacy

This App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable local law to consent to data processing.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a manner intended for independent use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App inappropriately, please contact us and we will review the issue and take appropriate steps.

If future versions include advertising or analytics, extra care should be taken to ensure compliance with child-directed app rules, Families policies, and any age-based legal requirements.

15. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights that include:

  • Accessing information about how your data is processed

  • Requesting correction of inaccurate personal data

  • Requesting deletion of personal data

  • Restricting or objecting to certain processing

  • Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent

  • Requesting portability of data where applicable

  • Opting out of any sale or sharing for targeted advertising, if ever applicable

How to Manage or Delete Data

Because much of the App’s data is stored locally or sent to destinations you control, you can often manage deletion directly by:

  • Removing media access permission from Android settings

  • Clearing app data from your device settings

  • Removing saved connection settings from within the app, if available

  • Uninstalling the App

  • Deleting transferred files from your router, USB storage, FTP destination, or self-hosted server

  • A clear description of your request

We will review applicable requests in accordance with relevant law.

16. International Users and CCPA-Friendly Information

Depending on where you live, you may receive additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA.

For California residents, this means:

  • We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood.

  • We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the current reviewed build because no ad SDK was identified.

  • You may request information about categories of personal information processed and request deletion where applicable.

For users in the EEA, UK, or similar regions:

  • You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

17. External Links and Third-Party Destinations

The App may allow you to connect to devices, servers, routers, or destinations not operated by us. It may also reference or interact with third-party or self-hosted services configured by you.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third-party systems, websites, routers, servers, or network destinations that you choose to use with the App. You should review the privacy and security practices of those services separately.

18. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary for app functionality, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes, where applicable.

In practice, much of the App’s operational data is stored locally on your device until you remove it, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Data transferred to your chosen destination remains subject to your control and the retention settings of that destination.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes in app features

  • New legal or regulatory requirements

  • New third-party integrations

  • Changes to data handling practices

When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app or app listing.

20. Contact Information

If you have questions, concerns, or privacy-related requests regarding Photos Sync Wifi Pro, please contact the developer using the contact email or support details provided on the app’s Google Play listing.

If you publish a dedicated privacy contact email, you should also add it here for clarity.
