2. Information We Collect
2.1 Camera Access
CodeForge Pro uses your device’s camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. Here’s how camera data is handled:
- Processing: Camera images are processed locally on your device only
- Transmission: Images are never uploaded to our servers or any third party
- Storage: Images are not stored or saved unless you explicitly choose to save a scanned code to your history
- Deletion: Camera data is deleted immediately after each scan is processed
- Scanning Results: Only the text/data extracted from the barcode may be saved to your local history if you choose
⚠️ Important: The camera is only active when you open the scanner. When the scanner is closed, the app has no access to your camera.
2.2 Barcode & QR Code Generation Data
When you generate barcodes or QR codes in CodeForge Pro:
- Data Input: Text, URLs, contact information, or other data you enter is stored locally on your device only
- No Server Upload: Generated codes are never sent to any server
- Local Processing: All rendering and processing happens offline on your device
