1. Introduction
Welcome to Image Catalog Maker Pro (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the App on your Android device.
By downloading or using Image Catalog Maker Pro, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
2. About the App
Image Catalog Maker Pro is a free offline-first Android tool that lets you create professional product catalogs and export them as PDF files. All catalog creation, product management, and PDF generation happens entirely on your device — we do not operate any servers and do not collect or upload your personal content.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide (Stored Locally on Device Only)
The following data is entered by you and stored only on your device using a local SQLite database (never transmitted to any external server):
| Data Type | Purpose | Where Stored |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog name, template, background colour, timestamps | Organize your catalogs | Local SQLite database |
| Product title, description, price, discount, tags | Populate catalog pages | Local SQLite database |
| Product image file paths | Reference photos selected from your gallery/camera | Local SQLite database |
| Business name and business category | Personalize the app experience during onboarding | Local device storage (SharedPreferences) |
| Onboarding completion status | Determine whether to show the welcome screen | Local device storage (SharedPreferences) |
| Usage statistics (catalogs created today, total catalogs created) | Track in-app milestones | Local device storage (SharedPreferences) |
| Exported PDF file paths | Allow quick re-opening of previously generated PDFs | Local device storage (SharedPreferences) |
3.2 Photos and Camera Images
When you select product images from your gallery or take photos with your camera, the image files are read from your device and processed locally.
Image files are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
We access images solely to embed them into catalog layouts and PDF exports.
3.3 Exported PDF Files
PDF catalogs generated by the App are saved to your device’s local storage (under a
PDFs/folder in your app directory or external storage).PDF files are never automatically transmitted to any server.
You choose if and when to share a PDF (e.g., via WhatsApp, Email, or another app on your device).
3.4 Data Collected by Google AdMob (Third Party)
The App is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect the following data on our behalf when ads are displayed:
| Data Type | Purpose | Shared With |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (GAID) | Ad personalization and frequency capping | Google AdMob |
| Device information (model, OS version, screen size) | Ad rendering and targeting | Google AdMob |
| IP address | Approximate geolocation for ad targeting | Google AdMob |
| App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks, session length) | Ad performance measurement | Google AdMob |
| Coarse location (derived from IP, not GPS) | Serving region-relevant ads | Google AdMob |
AdMob’s data collection is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy:
👉 Google Privacy Policy
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via your device settings:
Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (Android 11 and below).
3.5 Google Fonts (PDF Rendering)
When you export a PDF, the App attempts to download the Noto Sans font from Google’s font service (via the printing Flutter package) to support full Unicode text rendering (including special characters and the ₹ rupee symbol). This network request goes to Google’s servers. If no internet connection is available, a built-in fallback font is used and no network request is made.
4. How We Use Information
We use information solely to:
Display and manage your catalogs and products within the App.
Generate and save PDF exports of your catalogs.
Remember your preferences (business name, onboarding state).
Display advertisements through Google AdMob to support free access to the App.
Provide an ad-free experience for 10 minutes after you watch a rewarded ad.
We do not:
Sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
Upload your product photos, catalog content, or business name to any server.
Track your precise GPS location.
Use analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel).
Create user accounts or require login.
5. Data Storage and Security
| Storage Location | Data Stored | Encrypted? |
|---|---|---|
| Local SQLite database (on-device) | Catalogs, products | Android system-level app sandbox |
| SharedPreferences (on-device) | App settings, business name, usage stats, PDF paths | Android system-level app sandbox |
| Device file system | Product photos (as file path references), exported PDFs | Android system-level app sandbox |
All locally stored data is protected by Android’s application sandbox. Other apps cannot access it without root access. We do not transmit this data.
6. Permissions Used
